Planting & Care
1. Planting: It's recommended to grow the plants in full sun for the best foliage color. If grown in partial shade, the plants may require staking, and their color will be less vibrant. In the western region, plants grow best in partial shade. Ensure you plant them in moist but well-drained soil.
2. Watering: You can overwinter the plants indoors in a sunny, south-facing window, but they require moist, well-drained soil and plenty of heat and sun.
3. Fertilizing: Feed them every two weeks with a water-soluble 15-30-15 fertilizer that is exclusively formulated for annuals.
4. Pruning: To encourage the plants to be bushy and more compact, pinch them off when new growth starts to appear.
