Beans Deliver Sweet Vanilla Flavor

Why Ice Cream Bean Trees?

Delivering one-of-a-kind fruit that tastes just like vanilla ice cream (living up to its name), the Ice Cream Bean Tree gives you exotic flavor from its unique legumes - no matter where you live! Simply walk over and harvest your delicious bounty when it ripens.

And it's fairly easy to grow, despite its tropical origins. This unique plant requires minimum maintenance and is effortless. In fact, you can keep your Ice Cream Bean Tree in a pot indoors or out...meaning you're not limited by climate when it comes to this tree's home-grown beans. They resemble cotton candy in taste and are surrounded by deliciously sweet, cottony pulp.

They're even drought tolerant once established. The Ice Cream Bean gives you the best of both worlds: effortless growth and unmatched flavor.

Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better

When you order your Ice Cream Bean from our nursery, you receive a well-rooted, more mature tree that quickly establishes in your home. And with proper care, you even could start picking beans after the first few seasons.

Good luck finding an Ice Cream Bean at your local big-box. When you order your tree online, you get a rare, tropical variety and a healthy specimen that's ready to thrive.

These trees sell out fast...especially since they're so difficult to find elsewhere. Order your Ice Cream Bean Tree now, while they are still available!

Pollination Info

Ice Cream Bean Tree Pollination

Ice Cream Bean Trees are self-fertile. You will get fruit with only one plant. However, adding an additional Ice Cream Bean Tree will drastically increase the size of your crop.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: For the best results, use well-draining soil and choose a location with filtered sunlight for your plant. An east-facing window is ideal.

Select a pot that's about twice the size of your plant's shipped container, use organic soil, and place your plant in its pot. Keep the humidity up around the Ice Cream Bean Tree by setting it on a water-filled pebble tray in its early stages. A light misting with a water bottle in the evenings is great for a more mature plant.

If you plant outside, ensure your tree is placed in a sunny area.

Note: This product grows best in well-draining soil. When you receive your plant, you may notice small, white beads or rocks in the soil - this medium is added to increase drainage and keep your plant happy and healthy!

2. Watering: Water once weekly with warm water until it comes out of the bottom of your pot. If you're not sure when to water, simply check the surrounding soil about 2 inches down. Keep the soil evenly moist.

3. Fertilizing: Ice Cream Beans don't need nitrogen fertilizer because, like other legumes, they produce their own nitrogen and add nitrogen to the soil.

4. Pruning: Remove branches in late winter or early spring to open up the canopy.
