1. Planting: First, select an area with full to partial sun (4 to 8 hours of sunlight) and well-drained soil.
When you're ready to plant, dig a hole that's large enough to accommodate your tree's root ball, place your tree and backfill the surrounding soil. We recommend mulching to finish and conserve moisture, and watering to settle the roots.
