3-in-1 Apple Tree Pollination
3-in-1 Apple Trees are self-fertile. You will get fruit with only one plant. However, adding an additional 3-in-1 Apple Tree will drastically increase the size of your crop.
Planting & Care
1. Planting: To truly thrive, your 3-in-1 Apple Tree will need well-drained soil and full sun (6 to 8 hours of sunlight per day). Once you've found your ideal planting location, dig a hole that's twice the width of the root ball and just as deep. Then, place your tree, back fill the soil and water to settle the soil. Finally, we recommend mulching around the area for best results.
*Tip: Make sure your mulch is not touching the base of the trunk.
2. Watering: Your 3-in-1 will benefit from a regular watering each week. You may need to water more often in times of extreme heat or drought. However, if you're not sure when to water, simply check the soil 2 or 3 inches down. If the soil is dry in this area, it's time to water.
3. Pruning: Once your tree has become established and is starting to bear fruit, it will need some moderate pruning. Only prune during times of dormancy, making sure to remove any vigorous, upright stems in the upper portion of the tree. Weak, damaged or dead branches should also be removed.
